In 2021, national regulations have been replaced by EU legislation. To conduct flights beyond line of sight under the new regulation, a number of issues have to be taken into account.

We offer UAS operators our support in

  • conducting operational risk assessments (EASA-SORA) and applying for operational authorisations in the category “specific” according to Article 12 of the Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/947;
  • preparing concepts of operation; and
  • interacting with competent authorities

Cities and municipalities face the challenge of integrating unmanned air traffic into their existing transport concepts. This integration must be actively pursued, and requires adaptations to infrastructure and communications, both technical and social.
